纯棉最安全舒适，但是要分清纯棉质量。目前按照实际加工的棉花来源又区分为原生棉织物和再生棉织物。宝宝的内衣应该选择原生棉织物。宝宝内衣的棉质料有以几下种：1、针织罗纹布。质地薄、伸缩性、透气性强，手感好，是夏季的最好选择。2、针织棉毛布。有极佳的伸缩性、保暖性、透气性及较好的手感，适宜于秋冬内衣。3、棉纱布。透气性好，洗后易缩水，适宜夏季内衣。

另外，宝宝的内衣应该选择浅颜色的或者纯白的，因为深颜色的内衣容易存在有害物质超标的现象，给宝宝的皮肤造成刺激而引起各种皮肤疾病以及其他健康问题。家长应该选择质量过关的有信誉的厂家的产品，有些杂牌铅会超标，会给宝宝的健康带来危害。

选择棉布料的内衣：因为婴儿的皮肤柔软、娇嫩且抵抗力差加上汗腺分泌旺盛，而棉织品婴儿内衣具有亲肤性好、易吸水、保暖性强，质地柔软、通透性好、容易洗涤的优点。相反，合成纤维及尼龙布料内衣无上述优点而且易产生静电反应，尼龙内衣贴在肚子上会使宝宝感到不舒服。

家长选择内衣时要注意款式要宽松舒适;内衣的色彩尽可以选择白色或浅色，以便及时发现婴儿的便便是否正常。此外，要留意内衣缝制的线迹不能有断线或线头，以免伤害婴儿的皮肤;刚买回的内衣要及时拆掉领子处的商标，包装内外的固定物，如各种丝线、针头、装饰扣、别针等，应全部取下，以防弄伤婴儿娇嫩的皮肤。

注重实用性：婴儿的肚兜主要是要注重实用性与功能性，所以是否美观并不重要，应该给宝宝选择花色简单的，越简单就证明化学染料用得越少，宝宝穿上就越安全。而且花色简单会给人一种淡雅的感觉，让妈妈们看着宝宝会有一种很舒服的感觉。
